Text Box: Childs World International Nursery & Pre School Spring Newsletter 2010 Text Box: As we continue on into the “Spring Semester 2010, I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to all the parents, friends and many in the community who continue to support Child’s World. The time is flying by and so many things have happened since our semester has begun. It sure has been a busy time for all. Take a look at the things that we have accomplished and will undertake in the remainder of this semester. Celebrations: For those of you who participated in our Chinese New year celebration, I hope it was as memorable for you as it was for us here at Child’s World. Photos have been uploaded to the Child’s World website for your viewing pleasure. Field Trips: WOW what a beautiful day our trip to the strawberry farm turned out to be. The children had a great time and enjoyed the outdoor activity in the sunshine. Thank you to the parent volunteers who accompanied us. Upcoming events: Get ready, Get set, GO….”Sports Day” will be held on March 19th and we are looking forward to our annual “tug O war” event. Get ready parents this year promises to be a great event filled with excitement and fun. Another important day is “Picture Taking” which will be held on March 25 & 26. Please be sure to get your children to school on time. This year sibling photos will NOT be allowed. Still in the planning stages is our year end “Family Fun “field trip. More information will be posted as it is confirmed. A tentative date is scheduled for April 30th. In honor of our dedicated mom’s, our annual “Mother’s Day” breakfast will be held on May 7th, Summer News: First, I would like to make an announcement; the summer schedule was mis-printed on our yearly calendar and also the Child’s World website. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused your summer planning. To better arrange your summer schedule; here are the corrected dates: Summer session I - May 17, 2010 until June 11, 2010 Nature’s Way~ What happens out doors Summer session II- June 14, 2010 until July 9, 2010 Sunny Summer Days~ Water play and sand fun Summer session III- July 12, 2010 until August 6, 2010 Let’s get Physical~ Health awareness Next, if you are planning to attend the summer sessions, please let the office know so we can arrange the staff according. Summer forms will be distributed by March 15. Last, Families leaving the school for a vacation or extended holiday are encouraged to make arrangements with the office to complete the necessary forms. Fall Semester Registration: It’s time to make your decision for the upcoming fall semester. Fall registration packets will be sent home and need to be completed before March 31, 2010. All forms must be signed, updated and returned to the office before the first day of the new semester. No admission will be allowed without completed forms. Copies of passports are required.
